JAPAN CAR―DESIGNS FOR THE CROWDED GLOBE

A book documenting the exhibition of the same name. It editorially reviews the car, which supports Japan's export industry, from the three perspectives of “smallness,” “environmental technology,” and “toward mobile urban cells,” and provides a bird's-eye view of future trends related to mobility. The book also includes comments on the future of mobility by Jean Nouvel, Kenichiro Mogi, Kengo Kuma, Naoto Fukasawa, and Shigeru Ban, as well as “Oyamazaki Kotsu no Zu,” a future traffic illustration by Akira Yamaguchi.
