DRAW
DRAW" is the first collection of sketches by Kenya Hara, the president of Nippon Design Center and a designer whose wide-ranging activities include art direction for MUJI, corporate VI design, and exhibition production.
Hara says that sketching is an activity to pull out the unstable ideas floating around in one's head into the dimension of the world. This book explores the source of Hara's creativity over the past 40 years, which has included drawings that seem to bring out the forms in his mind, sketches for logos and posters, storyboards for moving images, and rough drafts for exhibitions and books, all of which have been created through the process of drawing with his hands.
