Pon-Ponyu graphic art works

Art pieces are scattered throughout the lodge—from the walls in the entrance area and the hot spring baths to the individual guest rooms—revealing the natural landscape of the Kushiro Marsh through intricate illustrations and text. The lineup covers nine topics, including wetland vegetation, the Kushiro River and other bodies of water, the surrounding ecosystem, and natural phenomena that can be seen in the wetlands.
Guest room drawers contain a map showing activities and places to explore around Shibecha and in the Kushiro, Akan and Mashu areas.
It is worthwhile to have a look before and after exploring the wetlands.
