WHITE
In this work, Kenya Hara reinterprets the concept of "white" not as a color, but as a unique sensory resource of Japan. Drawing upon the aesthetic philosophies of figures such as the writer Jun'ichirō Tanizaki (In Praise of Shadows), philosopher Shūzō Kuki (The Structure of "Iki"), art thinker Tenshin Okakura (The Book of Tea), and agricultural scholar Inazo Nitobe (Bushido), Hara seeks to approach these discussions from the perspective of design.
