ONE HUNDRED STONEWARES

Sequel to CHAMBER of CURIOSITIES. It was published at the same time as “BIRD BIOSOPHIA”. The intention to photograph “stone tools” as objects had been in the works since the beginning of the relationship with the University of Tokyo Museum. Although the book design for the acrylic case was already in place, the proportions of each object were intentionally changed to give the “stones” a stout appearance and the “birds” a slender, elegant look, rather than having them all be the same size and proportions.
