Ex-formation

This book is a record of ten years of teaching in the Department of Basic Design at Musashino Art University, where Kenya Hara served as the head professor. It is the Japanese version of the book Ex-formation, published in 2015 by Lars Müller Publishers in Switzerland. Ex-formation refers to the act of "making things unknown" rather than "making things known." This book explores the new concept of communication design that encourages people to realize how much they do not know, and it marks the beginning of a new approach in design methodology.
